Technical Project Manager will be responsible for Developing technical solutions to business problems by defining, analyzing, documenting, and Managing requirements at the project level and all execution aspects of the project from planning, monitoring and implementation. The main responsibility will be requirement gathering, requirement analysis, customer interactions, Scope management, coordinating with resources, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and ensure timely project delivery.
Requirement gathering & analysis
Finalization of Requirement Study for new clients/ new features for existing clients
Preparation of BRD/ Functional Document in collaboration with Documentation team and obtaining sign-off from client
Preparation of Prototype in Collaboration with Design team and obtaining sign-off from client
Support to Sales team in RFP responses/ Demos/ performing POCs
Defines requirements and plan project life-cycle deployment
Defines resources and schedule for project implementation
Prepare Project plans, Estimation and Schedule for delivery
Performs team assessments and evaluations
Develops project scope of work documents and project plans that include an analysis of benefit, cost, work schedule and any related risks
Defines the responsibilities of parties involved in the project including customers, management, IT management, project team, vendors and others affected by the project
Assigns, schedules, trains, reviews, and monitors project work to ensure that progress is within expected guidelines and is completed on time and within budget
Mentors and provides expertise to other project team members
Develops and maintains project reporting structures and progress measurement schedules
Maintains frequency of interactions with the clients and looks after any training requirements that may be needed for a team member to complete an IT project
Identifies, tracks, monitors, and communicates project-related issues, scope changes, and concerns that may arise during the implementation of IT projects
Facilitates amicable solutions to problems encountered
Maintains effective communication and working relationships with customers and project team members
Identifies the technical approach to be used on a given IT project and manages the system development process including the development of a strategic plan, systems analysis, technical design, coding, testing and acceptance of an IT system and/or application
Prepares and presents technical reports and project presentations
Organizes and conducts project team meetings
Keeps his/her team well motivated to deliver project on stated timelines
